Separation Anxiety/Separation Related Behaviors: Get Started
I look forward to helping you teach your dog that being left alone is safe! Using Systematic Desensitization, we will work together to keep your dog under their panic point so that they are able to realize that your departure is not a traumatic experience. They may not love being alone, after all the ARE social creatures and prefer to be with their family, but you walking out the door will not lead to an immediate meltdown!

Step One:
Schedule A Free Phone Consultation
This is a 20 minute call to discuss your situation.
Ask me questions, gain more information about separation anxiety, and learn how I can help your family and your dog.

Step Two:
Tell Me About Your Dog
Fill out a brief questionnaire when you schedule.
As as you book your Clarity Call appointment, you will be asked to fill out a form. Your appointment will not be booked until you have submitted the requested information. This gives me basic information about your situation and saves time by collecting necessary information ahead of time so we can concentrate on the problem at hand.

Step Three:
Schedule your Initial Assessment
After we chat on the phone, it is time to schedule our first meeting! This is two parts:
1) Approximately 45 minutes of online, on demand videos you must watch to prepare for the second half of the consultation.
2) A 1 hour Zoom meeting to review the training protocols, introduce you to the technology needed for training, and do the Initial Assessment of your dog so I have the information needed to start training.

Step Four:
Schedule your Weekly Live Reassessments and start training
Separation Anxiety training requires a minimum four (4) week commitment. While the process is straightforward, even simple, it is not easy and takes time. You need to be thinking about months rather than weeks. You will receive an email with the link to book your Weekly Reassessments. Training must begin within 3 days of your Initial Assessment to ensure that we start at a point where your dog can be successful or a second Initial Assessment will be required.
